The Jay Pogue Insurance Agency Inc. was started by Jay Pogue in 1973. He built a robust Agency over the next 30 years. He was an icon in the industry, building his Riverside business based on personalized customer service and low prices. He was also a pioneer in the Non Standard Insurance Agency. After he passed away, his son took over his father’s business, continuing his father’s legacy. In 2008 his son decided to sell the business. It was important to him that he find someone who had the same beliefs of Jay Pogue, that of personalized customer service and low prices. Steve Nichols purchased the agency and has continued to provide the same level of personalized customer service and low prices that Jay Pogue has stood for since 1973.
